This easy crochet Halloween Tote is more than just a pumpkin bag—it’s a blank canvas waiting for your creativity!
The basic tote features a cheerful pumpkin worked in tapestry crochet. Crocheted facial features, which are applied after the bag is created, are included. But you have the option to let your kids help design the face using buttons, felt or other embellishments.. But that’s only the beginning. Change the background color, embellish the handles, or make each side a different face.

The bag is easy; there are minimal color changes. A photo tutorial on changing colors is included.

The pattern uses Dishie worsted weight cotton yarn: 2 skeins of blue; 1/2 skein of orange and a small amount of yellow and brown.
