This simple koozie pattern involves some extra spooky details. Knit in a rib stitch, this pattern includes two button holes and i-cord edge for a snug fit on your mug of choice.
This piece is knit flat, however the top i-cord is worked all the way around the top edge to connect corners in the round.

YOU WILL NEED
2 size U.S. 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles
2 skeins of DK yarn in different colors. I used Shibui Knits Baby Alpaca in colors Brownstone (roughly 32 yds) and Brown for the details.

MEASUREMENTS AND GAUGE
Note: The finished piece fits most standard-sized coffee mugs.
This piece measures 2.375“ (6 cm) long, 9“ (23 cm) wide, 2.5“ (6.35 cm) in diameter when not in use.
Gauge: 7 sts per inch, 9 rows per inch with U.S. 2 (2.75 mm) needles in rib stitch and laid flat
