Punapipa is constructed with 1x1 rib stitch worked in the round, alternating either knit or purl stitch to begin every 7th row. One adult size fits most.

For this pattern you need to knit from the back, purl, slip, pass stitch over and knit two together.

YARN & YARDAGE
Worsted weight Cascade 220 100 g = 220 yards / 201 m. Colorway red number 4213. Or use any other similar weight yarn of 220 yards / 201 m.

NEEDLE
Size US 8 / 5 mm needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain pattern gauge.

KNITTING
Punapipa is worked round from bottom up.

FINISHED SIZE
Approximately 23 x 8 inces / 58 x 20 cm.
