This is a “quick” creation! The Puppy/Dog without the wire holder stands approx. 5-6”, with the wire holder 7+ inches, or your desired height. I’ve given it as a photo holder, but also as a recipe card holder (I attach a great recipe), or a note holder…they all make great gifts year round. The best yarn is Velvet, however, you’ll have good success with #4 worsted yarn. Be creative….add stripes. Once you are familiar with the pattern and techniques, add texture by using different yarns…..Just like dogs, the options are endless. It takes very little yarn…about 30-50 yards….maybe a bit less. You’ll need yarn, decorative wire, wiggle eyes, and fiberfill for the body. A lot more details are in the pattern, along with brand names and where to purchase the items. To tell you the truth, most of what you need you already have, with exception of the wire and eyes. You won’t be sorry you got the pattern, EVERYONE, including Dog Lovers, adore this gift of love.
