 “Puppy Pile” is a charted double-knit blanket pattern 

featuring three snuggled puppies in a soft, photorealistic design. It’s fully reversible—dark on one side, light on the other—so there’s no wrong side. This project is great for knitters who love bold results without complicated stitches.

Size:
Finished blanket measures approximately 34” x 37” (86 x 94 cm), perfect as a baby gift or a cozy lap throw.

Gauge:
15 sts x 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in double knitting
Gauge is not essential—this design is flexible! Just use worsted-weight yarn and adjust your needle size if needed.

Materials Needed:

Two contrasting worsted-weight yarns (100% acrylic used in sample)

Approx. 719 yards (657 m) of each color
