The Purple Rain Wind Spinner is a fun addition to your outside home decor. It is an advanced beginner friendly pattern with instructions on how to make and construct a wind spinner, a cloud and raindrops.

You will need approximately 175 yards of worsted weight yarn. The cloud uses about 75 yards and the raindrops use about 25 yards.

The length of the wind spinner can be adjusted by adding or subtracting your starting chain. Two identical clouds are made and stuffed while being joined together. Raindrops are then worked in the round, stuffed and attached.

You can use any weight yarn and hook for this project, just note that the dimensions and yarn requirements will be different than listed in the pattern.
