What happens when you combine a smooth sock yarn, a fabulously fluffy yarn, and a perfectly playful paw print design?

Magic, that’s what. The Purrfectly Fluffy cowl is as cozy and snuggly as it is texturally appealing. As an added bonus, it is completely reversible. Wear the cowl smooth side out, and you have fluffy kitty paw prints prancing around the circumference. Or, if you prefer, turn the cowl the other way out, and the paw prints are now painted across a field of fluff.

This cowl is knitted flat and then grafted together, so there is no visible seam. Because it is knitted sideways in this manner, the finished circumference is completely customizable. The pattern includes approximately how much of each yarn is used in one repeat of the pattern. So you can use that information to plan accordingly.

I used a lace weight suri alpaca/silk blend held double for my “fluffy yarn.” However, you may substitute any fluffy yarn as long as it totals an approximate fingering weight thickness. Have fun. Play with texture as well as color. The sky is the limit.
