These socks are like the ones we wore when going hiking or skiing in the European Alps. I combined a cable pattern with some extra squishy half brioche stitch sections, to create a pair which has a corresponding left and right sock.
They mold perfectly to the shape of the leg and foot and will not slide down, making them a pleasure to wear.

The pattern comes in three Sizes:
Average child’s foot circumference (approx. 16 cm or 6 1/2”)
Average women’s foot circumference (approx.20 cm or 8”)
Average men’s foot circumference (approx.24 cm or 9 1/2).

Foot length is adjustable for all sizes.

You will need up to 100 g of Fingering Weight (4 Ply) sock yarn

I used Austermann Step Classic Kirsch (1005)
