This conceptually simple sock pattern is a great way to knit a striped sock with just a little more interest. For best results, use a self striping sock yarn. My yarns used were KnitPicks Felici in Chelsea, and KnitPicks Stroll in White.

If you’ve got the skills of a sock down, you should be able to tackle this pattern without any issue! If you’re new to socks, you should be able to knit it, but it may get a little confusing at times.

Gauge isn’t too important to this pattern, as long as you are able to achieve something close to the gauge provided on your fingering/sock weight yarn’s band.

Sizes in Pattern:
• Child’s Large/Woman’s Small (approximately women’s shoe size US 5-7)
• Woman’s Medium (approximately women’s shoe size US 7.5-9)
• Woman’s Large/Men’s Small (approximately women’s shoe size US 9.5-10)
• The pattern would be easy to adapt, if desired, for a smaller or larger sock.

Materials:
• Approximately 350-436 yards of self striping sock weight yarn.
• Approximately 50 yards of a solid sock weight yarn for the heels.
• (4) US size 2 Double Pointed Needles
• Tapestry/Yarn Needle
