A pair of mittens for those who are on the go and don’t want to take their mittens off to do fiddly things all the time. Check tickets on your mobile, look in your pockets for keys or tie your shoelaces, well, pynja as we Fenno-Swedes would say – everything works! This model has a short cuff and a spacious thumb, the size is easy to adjust to fit your hands.

The mittens are worked in the round in garter stitch on double pointed needles or circular needles in any length using the magic loop technique. First the mitten is knitted with the thumb gusset, then knit the thumb and finally the ‘cap’ which is attached by picking up stitches on the back of the mitten.

Yarn: Drops Alpaca, two strands, (equivalent to DK/Light) 75g, (100g)

Vantarna stickas runt i rätstickning på strumpstickor eller på rundsticka i valfri längd med magic loop-tekniken. Först stickas själva vanten med tumkil, sedan stickas tummen och sist “hättan” som fästs genom att plocka upp maskorna på vantens ryggsida.
