Pynt shawl is worked from the top down and begins with a simple garter stitch edge and continues with a beautiful textured pattern created using slipped stitches across the body of the shawl.

The pattern across the shawl body is repetitive and easy to memorize, yet varied enough to keep the knitting interesting as you work your way toward the decorative edging which is finished with a picot bind-off.

The Pynt Shawl is shown in the larger size knitted in Finull from Ekkullens Fårfarm, and in the smaller size is shown in white using Blenda Gotland from Yarnwick, and in orange using MerinoSoft Organic from Handgjord Lyx.

The size of the shawl can be easily adjusted by working more or fewer pattern repeats, or by changing the yarn and needle size.

Sjalen Pynt är en strukturstickad sjal som stickas från nacken och ned, med ett kantband i rätstickning och därefter ett vackert strukturmönster av lyfta maskor över sjalkroppen.

Sjalen Pynt pryds nederst av en spännande strukturmönstrad bård som avslutas med en picotkant.

Sjalkroppens strukturmönster är repetitivt och enkelt, samtidigt som det gör att det hela tiden ”händer något” i stickningen på väg till den roliga avslutningsbården med picotkant.
