Pyrus Blanket
In a relaxing lace pattern and a soft DK-weight yarn, this baby blanket is a pleasure to knit. It takes its name from the pear tree (Pyrus in Latin), with its oval, pointy-tipped leaves. The combination of lacy leaves and straight lines makes this sweet blanket nostalgic and modern at the same time. The pattern contains both written instructions and a chart for the leaves-and-ladders lace pattern.

Finished measurements
Approx. 75 cm/29.5” wide x 100 cm/39.5” long.

Yarn
9 skeins of Drops ‘Merino Extra Fine’ (100% wool; meterage/weight 105 m/115 yds/50 g), shown in shade 01, off white. Or 945 m/1.035 yds of a similar DK-weight yarn.
