IMPORTANT NOTES

  • The hat is knit top-down while holding 1 strand of DK weight yarn and 2 strands of lace weight yarn.
  • Before casting on, divide hank of lace weight yarn into 2 equal balls/cakes.
  • You can also knit the hat with just 1 strand each of DK and lace-weight yarn.
  • The height of the hat and the length of the brim can be easily modified by adding or taking away rounds. If you’d like to add more rounds, you may need more yarn than what is listed. Try on the hat as you knit to determine the best dimensions for your taste and unique head!
