The Quail Feather Wrap is a cozy, relaxing knit that doesn’t ask for a lot of brain space. A crescent shaped meadow of garter, sprinkled with eyelets reminiscent of the sweet little dots found on quail feathers.

The Mini Size is a great way to use up that single skein of special hand-dyed yarn that you’ve been hanging on to and will look super adorable on the little loves in your life (it can also be worn by adults as a sweet little spring scarf - I “borrow” the one I made for my daughter all the time!)

The Full Size is the ultimate light-weight yet ultra-cozy shawl that will serve you well through all seasons. Super warm as a scarf in the Fall/Winter, but light and breezy enough to drape over a dress in the Spring and cooler Summer nights. You’ll need 3 skeins of fingering weight yarn for this size - special Quail Feather Kits can also be purchased from madebyhaileybailey.com (link provided in pattern)

You can make this shawl in a single color OR mix it up with several different colors - a couple of my testers (see photos) worked a fade into their wraps and the effect is very stunning and unique!

This pattern is suitable for new knitters. I’ve included written descriptions as well as links to video tutorials for the techniques used in this pattern. You can also reach out to me, through email, with any questions :)
