This scarf uses the Quaker Ridging stitch pattern from Barbara Walker’s Treasury of Knitting Patterns. This stitch pattern has a great texture which is pleasing to the touch and the eye. The alternating of main and contrasting colors is a great way to show off a nice variegated yarn. This scarf is a bit wider so could be used as a wrap as well as a scarf.
