QUARTET was designed in DK WEIGHT yarn & named for the minimum number of ways it may be styled/worn. 4 SIZES are included in this extremely versatile pattern, designed to fit children to large adults, with HEAD SIZES ranging from 45-65cm or 18-26’’

BONUS EXTRA: The instructions also work for FINGERING weight & WORSTED weight yarns, with stitch counts & recommended needle sizes given across all 3 yarn weights. (Please note however, that yarn & yarn quantities noted here & in the pattern are for DK weight only).

The reversible stitch pattern in this design, based on a rib, but altered to include slipped stitches, looks great on both sides. This is a FUN TO KNIT hat, & the stitch pattern quickly becomes intuitive. You might just find it a bit more exciting on the needles than a standard, ribbed hat.

Carefully considered shaping is written into the instructions & a table of decreasing stitch counts is included, so you can easily keep track of where you are.

This pattern is a great one to have on your needles for ‘go anywhere’ knitting - & as such, it might even become a ‘go to’ gift hat! It’s a gender neutral design, suitable for all your family & friends!

It looks great in self striping/gradient yarns too.
