Like veins of quartz cutting through another mineral, bands of garter stitch provide a shock of colour in this simple shawl. Short row wedges widen the basic triangle shape, giving you more length to wrap around your neck and keep you cozy. The rest of the garment is kept simple with a textured stitch pattern that’s easy to memorize, making it a fun and relaxing project that knits up in a flash.
