This is a simple fingerless gloves pattern with a subtle leafy lace pattern. The bottom has a 3 pointed peplum that gathers into a ribbed portion at the wrist. The pattern continues along the back of the hand with the inside of the hand worked in stockinette. A section of ribbing on the thumb and at the knuckles keeps the glove fitting snugly on a range of hand sizes.

The gloves were knit in 100% alpaca that has a mohair-like halo. In a yarn without halo, the leaf pattern will be more visible.

The pattern is one size, size for women’s hands. It easily fits small to large women’s hands, depending on how strongly you block it, and stays snug because of the ribbing sections.

ERRATA: If you downloaded the pattern before 10/14/13, there are errata in the pattern. (Thanks to katneedles for the help with errata!)

The lace chart is missing S2KP symbols on rows 1, 3, and 5. Please re-download the pattern for the correct chart.

The written lace instructions are missing a YO for round 5. They should read “K1, YO, K5, YO, S2KP, YO, S2KP, YO, S2KP, YO, K5, YO”.

The instructions for rounds 31-50 for both L and R hands should read “Round 31- 50: Repeat 4 thumb-gusset rounds (Rounds 27-30) another 5 times…”
