The Queen Apis Cowl features a gorgeous queen honey bee (Apis mellifera) motif with a honeycomb-esque border. The scientific name for “honey bee” is Apis mellifera from the latin word “apis” meaning “bee” and “mellifera” meaning “honey-bearing”. I think about my bees tucked away in their hive, so cozy all winter long, and I can only hope I feel half as cozy as they are when I’m wrapped up in my Queen Apis Cowl!
