This soft cowl is a pleasure to knit and a pleasure to wear. Choose your size from a darling single, double or even triple loop!

I designed this cowl as a gift for our midwife - hence the name “Queen Mab” who was midwife to the fairies. It makes a thoughtful gift for a loved one.

Choose a slightly textured luxury yarn in a solid colour to show off your lace stitches. This chart creates a gentle diamond-lattice pattern. Some basic knowledge of lace knitting is suggested.

This cowl is knit lengthwise with a DK weight yarn. This cowl has three sizes and no visible seam.

Note: The single loop uses every bit of the skein, so be sure to purchase enough yarn or use a smaller needle size if you are worried about running out.
