A generous sized shawl that features garter stripe sequences and progressively larger diamond lace repeats. Knit sideways, you begin with a few stitches, and increase every right-side row to form an elongated triangle that is great for wrapping around your shoulders.

Finished Measurements:
Long Edge: 75” / 190.5 cm
Widest: 46” / 116.8 cm

Materials:
YARN: 3 skeins in differing colors of One Room Fibers Merino Sock (400 yards, 100 gram, 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon) or 3 skeins fingering weight wool or wool blends, 400 yards each.

I suggest choosing a light, medium and dark yarn with good color contrast.

NEEDLES: US Size 6 / 4 mm in your choice of straight or circular (32” / 81.2 cm), or size needed to obtain gauge.

NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, remove-able stitch marker.

Many thanks to my tech editor, Cyndi Tiedt, and to my test knitters, CaraEllen, Donnajburton, and Sonjamisfeldt!
