My Queena’s Tire Tracks pattern creates a pair of large, extra soft and extra warm men’s socks. Wearing the socks, they truly feel extra warm, and extra soft on his feet. The combination of Virgin Wool Merino and Polyamide lets you enjoy the extra warmth and have the confidence that the socks will last and keep their shape. The socks are knitted toe-up both socks at the same time on circular needles with German short row heels. Easy Peasy!
A set of 5 dpns is used to cast on and complete the short row heels just for ease of handling. So if you ever wanted to try to knit 2 socks at the same time toe-up, this is the perfect pattern for you.
You can also complete both socks on the circulars if you have practice.
