Inspired by the beautiful Spanish language and the feeling of belonging and being at peace; Querencia is an asymmetrical triangle shawl showcasing beautiful Spanish lace that resembles the stunning architecture of the Catedral de Granada, subtle sand stitch textures
and relaxing garter stitch.

MATERIALS

Yarn ::

Single color version :: Indie Belle Yarns Twist, a 100% merino plied sock weight yarn (350m / 382yds per 100g). Colorway: Bare Bones

Three color version :: Indie Belle Yarns Merlin singles, a 90/10 merino linen blend (366m / 400yds per 100g).
Colorway: Mustard Seed, Fool’s Gold & Pepperberry

You will need 3.5 skeins of sock weight yarn or 1190m / 1300 yards of fingering weight yarn for the single colour version.
Optional : yarn to create tassels

You will need as follows for the three colour version:
Color A : 330m / 360yds
Color B : 330m / 360yds
Color C : 732m / 800yds
Optional: yarn to create tassels

Needles :: 3.5mm / US 4 (80cm/32 inch circular recommended)

Notions :: Stitch marker & tapestry needle to weave in ends

Gauge :: 23 stitches & 20 rows = 10cm/ 4”, measured in garter stitch (after blocking).
