Questa is a sideways shawlette, designed to use up most of your skein. Weigh it at the start and increase until you’re halfway through, then decrease. Questa is a beautiful spot in the mountains of New Mexico.

Finished Size: 17x66” once gently wet blocked.

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Djinni, 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon, 420 yards/4 ounces (Sample knit in
Persephone).

Needles: 24” circular needle size 6 US (4.00 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 18 stitches/ 28 rows per 4 inches in wet-blocked stockinette. Gauge is not critical for this item, but it will affect drape and amount of yarn used.

Notes:
This shawl is knit from one end to the other. Weigh your yarn at the beginning! Knit the increase portion of the shawl until you have used half (or just a little slightly less!) of the yarn, then begin decrease portion. For this purpose, a scale which measures grams is best. Sample used 103 grams. You may knit this shawl with any yarn, at any gauge. The secret remains, just weigh it!
