This quetzal was inspired by the quetzalcoatlus in ARK: Survival Evolved video game.

22x16x3 inches (56x41x8 cm)

The body is worked in rounds, do not join unless specified.
The wings are worked in rows. Ch1 and turn at the end of every row unless specified.

Materials Required:
-Worsted (Medium #4) Weight Yarn in 3 colors.
-Sport (Light #3) Weight Yarn in 1 color.
-3.5mm Crochet Hook.
-12mm Eyes
-Stuffing
-Scissors
-Yarn Needle
-Stitch Marker (a piece of contrasting yarn works)
-Optional: Wires for support. Pipe cleaners can work as well, but they’re not as strong.

It’s recommended that you use worsted weight yarn for the body and sport weight yarn for the wings. I used less than a skein of Red Heart Super Saver and Bernat Softee Baby.
