The #queueshawl is an an asymmetrical triangle shaped shawl in two sizes with contrasting colors separated by an eyelet short row stitch and zipped up with icord for smooth finished edges and finished with a 3 stitch icord bind off. Working only one color at a time over a three-row repeat, you’ll create a seamless striped shawl that will look fantastic with medium or high contrast yarns. This design is free of the purl stitch.

Yarn Selection: This pattern’s samples are designed with contrasting color yarns. The small sample is knit in yarns with a strong or high contrast. The large size is knit in medium contrast. As long as you can see a stark difference between the skeins beforehand, you will have a good match. To help you can take a photo of the proposed yarns and using your phone camera add the black & white filter. If you cannot tell the yarns apart, they do not have enough contrast. If you can tell the difference, go for it!

Designating a MC/CC: The color you’d like a large dominant section of should be the one you choose as the main color. The contrast color will be the one that makes the stripes.
