I had a skein of yarn left over from an afghan that I had made for a friend last year for the Holidays. This year, I used up that last skein and made her a matching scarf that she can wear all winter.

The picture in the pattern is using a yarn that I had pulled off a sweater that I bought some years ago. I hated it on the sweater (because it made it all loopy and fluffy in the front), so I removed it, rolled it into a big skein and saved it for future use. This project was a perfect way to repurpose it and use it up!
