Quick Cowl
If you’re a newer knitter searching for your next project, after the scarf or washcloth, you might like to knit this uncomplicated cowl or neck warmer, that doubles as a hood. You will knit in the round, practicing three stitch patterns. Seasoned knitters will also appreciate the ease of this pattern. It’s appropriate for any knitting skill level. It’s a simple design, using approximately 158 yards of chunky weight yarn. It knits up quickly, making it an ideal choice for the upcoming gift-giving season.
The cowl is approximately 11 1/2” deep x 30” in circumference.
Gauge 3 sts./in. 2 x 2 rib stitch pattern.

Materials
One skein (100 grams, 158 yards) of Universal Yarns, Classic Shades Frenzy,
70% Acrylic, 30% Wool. Chunky weight yarn.
Any chunky weight yarn will work with this pattern.
Size 10 ½“ circular needles in 16” length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.
