The Quick Knit scrunchie is designed to be exactly that - something you can whip up quickly and effortlessly while watching an episode of your favorite tv show or waiting in line at an appointment.

The gauge is not important, nor is the number of repeats. More repeats will make a bigger, bulkier scrunchie when twisted around your hair. Fewer repeats will result in a more narrow finished project. This allows knitters to use up their scraps however they want to - knit scrappy, stripey scrunchies or solid colors… whatever you prefer!
