Quick Little Junimo

Hook whatever size works with your yarn (I used 3.75 mm)
Color yarn (I used red heart)
Black yarn
Pipe cleaner (cut into three pieces)
Safety eyes (10 mm)
Pink embroidery thread
Yarn needle (curved works well)
Note: I chose not to add legs to my Junimo but you could easily add them by making two more “arms”.

Inc, sc x6
Inc, 2 sc x6
Inc, 3 sc x6

Add safety eyes (row 12 about 8 stitches apart). Stuff.
Insert the stem and dec x6, then fasten off and sew it up, securing the stem.
Use embroidery thread for cheeks.
Arms (make 2)
Chain 9 (leave decent length tail for sewing up)
8 sc starting in second chain from hook
Turn and 8 sc up the other side. Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.
Place pipe cleaner in the middle then use the chain tail to join the crochet up around it.
Insert pipe cleaner into body and twist to secure. Use tail to secure arm to body.
Leaf and stem
Chain 5
Sc, hdc, dc, (hdc, sc) in last stitch
Place pipe cleaner along the edge and crochet over it for this row. Turn and work up the other side: hdc, dc, hdc, sc. Slip stitch to the top. Fasten off and use end to cover up any pipe cleaner that is peeking out.
Attach black and do 2 sc over the pipe cleaner.
