Super easy to knit mitts in a simple Knit 2, Purl 2 rib design in 3 lengths (wrist, mid-arm and long). This is a great first mitt pattern for anyone who can knit and purl and uses worsted weight yarn. Easy to decorate with buttons or easy to knit flowers (flower pattern is included). This design has a large thumb opening which is non-binding and allows for full range of motion. I enjoy using multi-tone heather, hand-paint or variegated yarns. For a longer mitt, additional rows can be added. For a wider width, a larger needle can be used which doesn’t affect the rib design.

Any worsted weight yarn, beautiful in heather or variegated colors, 60-80 yards for wrist, for mid-arm (140-160 yards), long lengths (180-200 yards). Shown in Dream In Color Hand-paint Classy.
