Quickbeam is a seamless top-down, V-neck cardigan with saddle shoulders and interesting twisty details running over the shoulders and down the top of the sleeves.

‘Quickbeam’ is a traditional name for the rowan tree. The colour and texture of the moss stich panels reminded me of the tree’s beautiful red berries in the autumn.

Construction
A section of neckband ribbing is worked flat, then the back and sleeve stitches are picked up along one edge. Work continues flat, top down, with compound raglan increases forming the saddle shoulders, body and sleeves, and a continuation of neckband ribbing down front edges with v-neck increases. Sleeves are placed on hold and extra body stitches are cast on at the underarm; the body is worked flat with buttonholes worked concurrently. Sleeve stitches are returned to the needles and worked in the round.

A separate shaping table download is included to keep track of the yoke increases row by row.
