Quiet Ridges Fingerless Gloves are designed to help knitters build confidence through repetition while creating a practical, wearable project.

The fabric alternates sections of garter stitch with short stockinette bands, creating clear texture and an easy-to-read right and wrong side. The gloves are knit flat with rows running vertically on the hand, then finished by seaming the cast-on and bind-off edges together, leaving an opening for the thumb.

Clean slip-stitch edges form the wrist and knuckle openings. An optional i-cord–style edge and advanced finishing options are included for knitters who want to explore further.

This pattern is especially well suited to beginners and knitters learning continental style, but works beautifully for all knitting styles.
