Notes From the Designer:

When life seems difficult, I find great solace in working with my hands. It’s comforting to be able to sit by myself and do something that I enjoy, while also creating something beautiful.

This is just the sort of project that I turn to. The stitches are not difficult to work and the repeats are short and easy to remember, without becoming boring. Each color block is relatively short, providing easily attainable goals. Combining those aspects of the design with a yarn that is luxuriously soft makes this shawl a pleasure to crochet.

The width may be adjusted by adding or subtracting multiples of 12 to the initial fsc.

Length may be adjusted by varying the repeats of R5-R6 in each block of colors B and C, and/or by substituting Dividing Block 2 for Dividing Block 1.

Any adjustments will affect the amount of yarn required.
