What’s more summer-like than a picnic with quilts and berries? As you begin to spend long afternoons outdoors, grab this Quilted Berry Scarf or Cowl on the way out the door to warm your shoulders in the evenings, then use it again in the fall and winter as a reminder of more summer days to come!

The Quilted Berry Scarf or Cowl is a lightweight, textured scarf with panels of a knit-and-purl stitch and stockinette to give it a quilt-like appearance. The knit-and-purl stitch is reminiscent of the texture and shape of berries and berry baskets. Simple to knit and delicious to admire and wear, this scarf or cowl is sure to remind you of sweet fruits and long summer days!

This pattern, released in July 2015, will be available only to Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin’ Sock Club members for one year. After that, the pattern will be available to the public.
