Quirky Giraffe/Llama Blanket
This blanket was intended to look like a giraffe; however, if you remove the horns, it really looks more like a llama.
It is made entirely using double crochets that are increased and decreased to form the shapes. It is a beginner pattern, but there are many color changes that can easily become frustrating. The pattern is worked without breaking the yarn at each color change, so there is a right side (odd rows) and a wrong side (even rows).
You will need 1 skein each of Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (or another similar weight yarn) in the following colors:
- Cafe Latte (brown)
- Black
- Medium Thyme (green)
- Hot Red
- Cherry Red
- Saffron (yellow)
- Carrot (orange)
- Pumpkin - optional for border.
