Art Deco is one of my favorite artistic styles. I love the colors and the geometry. Quonset is my attempt to capture some of those elements of color and line in a knitted piece.
This wrap is composed of individual strips that are joined using a three needle bind off. The end and top borders are worked last.
Skills: Provisional cast on, picking up stitches, cast on, bind off, knit stitch. Nothing too difficult!
Yarn requirements:
~1200 yards fingering weight yarn ( 3 colors, 400 yards each)
Sample shown used Madeline Tosh Sock in Charcoal, Mineral and Candlewick.
