This simple toe-up sock was one of the featured patterns for Blue Ridge Fiber Fest 2023. It was included in “Knit the Festival Sock” class materials.

Sample was worked in a fine yarn held double. However, sock was designed using a typical 14 wrap-per-inch sock yarn base. 100g of typical independently-dyed sock yarn should make 1 pair.

Techniques required:
knitting in the round
knits & purls in the same round
increases using yarn overs & yarn unders
magic loop or two-circular needles
Judy’s magic cast-on
twin-stitch short-row heel
Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind-off
