Ladies and gentlemen … Start Your ENGINES! This race flag garland is perfect for the race fans in your life. Decorate for the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 500, and all of your favorite races. Even the littlest race car fans will love these flags hanging in their room!

Altogether there are 9 race flags, made with 5 different designs. They are a fast and fun project that uses beginner stitches and basic tapestry crochet colorwork to alternate colors.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate

Dimensions: Each flag is 7.5” wide x 9.5” high (19.1cm x 24.1cm), and the entire garland is 105” (266.7cm) long.

Materials Needed:
Size 4 cotton yarn in 6 colors, example made in Lily Sugar’n Cream with 1 skein of each color
-Black - 1.8 oz
-White - 1.4 oz
-Mod Green - 0.7 oz
-Bamboo - 1.2 oz
-Red - 1.1 oz
-Dazzle Blue - 0.5 oz

Gauge: Not important for this pattern, but for reference it is hdc 14 stitches x 11 rows = 4” square
