3, 2, 1… GO! Launch from the cuff, charge down the leg, navigate the curve at the heel, and bursts across the finish line at the toe. Inspired by the high-speed thrill of Formula 1, this sock is designed for the Supersock World Championship 2026.
It will be released to the public at the end of SWC 2026.
Gauge:
34 sts x 44 rnds = 10 cm (4 in) in stockinette using 2.5 mm needles
Yarn used:
Gründl Hot Socks Pearl Uni (75% wool, 20% polyamide, 5% cashmere; 200 m per 50 g)
Shown in:
Main color (MC): 10 black - 2 balls of 50 g
Contrast color (CC): 01 Cream - 1 ball of 50 g
Any fingering-weight sock yarn can be used for this sock pattern
Size information:
Sizes S (M, L, XL) with 56 (64, 72, 80) sts
Finished circumference: 16.5 (19, 21, 23.5) cm (6.5, 7.5, 8.5; 9.5 in)
Recommended ease: approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) of negative ease
