This pattern was created for my daughter’s wedding party. We used Lion’s Brand Thick and Quick Starbright for the 7 bridesmaids, There were a total of 4 knitters who knitted this pattern for the wedding with like results. Easily knits up in several nights.

Size 17 needles were used to create a more drapey fabric.

The colors used for the wedding were as follows: Cranberry for the bride and flower girls, Black with fur for the mother of the bride and Blue with fur for the groom’s mother.

The shawl can be made with no additional crochet trim, with a simple single crochet border or with a fur border.

A double sided button was used to fasten the shawl, but one could sew on buttons or hooks or use a ribbon to close.

Gauge is not critical, but should be close to stated.
