I was on the search for a simple shawl to use up a single unique skein of yarn, but couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind. I decided that I would just play around with some of the simple techniques I like, and the Radiation Shawl is what came out of it.

Modification ideas:
•Add Stripes – Change colors after each eyelet row to use up scrap yarn.
•Vary the number of garter rows between eyelet rows to create a more airy or more solid shawl.
•Have more than 1 skein? Just keep going and make it as big as you want. Have less than 1 skein or, frankly, just get bored? Make it smaller, perhaps a kerchief or hair wrap. The goal of this design was to be able to use (or use up) what you have on hand and not have the amount of yarn change the overall image of the piece.
