These knit & felted dolls are worked in the round on double pointed needles for almost seamless construction. Cascade 220 is ideal for felting. When substituting yarns, I recommend yarn that is plyed to minimize the dolls looking fuzzy after felting.

Materials

Yarn: One skein each Cascade 220 (or an equivalent) pale pink and red, small amounts of black and off white worsted weight yarn that will felt for the two doll bodies.
One skein Brown Sheep Nature Spun (or an equivalent) blue, red and white sport weight for doll clothing.

Needles: #10.5 dp (double pointed) for head, #10 dp and straight for body, #1 straight for nose, #3 dp and #5 straight & double pointed for clothing, size D crochet hook.

Eyes: Four 15 MM solid black.

Other: Black and red embroidery thread, fiberfill, stitch holders, tapestry needle, plastic markers, red thread, transparent tape (scotch), 3 smal red and 2 large white buttons for Andy’s suit, hooks and eyes for for back opening of dress and apron and white elastic cord.
