Railway Knitting (2012) was written as a take-home booklet for train passengers on The Canadian who participate in this hands-on-activity while traveling. The basic stitches of Tunisian crochet are described as part of the train experience. As the train runs between Vancouver and Toronto, much of the area is inaccessible to Internet. Passenger have enjoyed the unexpectedness of being able to learn a new technique and make something to take home.
