Yarn:
Pattern can be used with any weight yarn and includes specific instructions for Fingering, Sport, DK, and Worsted weights.
Pattern suggests one 100 g skein each of five colors, referred to in the pattern as C1, C2, C3, C4, and C5.
You may order the colors however you prefer, but keep in mind that C1 and C2 will be quite predominant.

Gauge & Size:
Gauge is not important for this pattern.
Finished size will depend on your tension, needle size, the number of repeats you work, and the size of border you choose.
Finished size of samples (blocked):
o Worsted: 85” wide by 33” deep at center
o DK: 78” wide by 34” deep at center
o Sport: 88” wide by 35” deep at center
o Fingering: 76” wide by 34” deep at center

Needles:
Use a circular needle with at least a 30” cable (longer is better).
Suggested needle sizes for each weight are as follows:
o Fingering: US 5 (3.75 mm)
o Sport: US 6 (4 mm)
o DK: US 8 (5 mm)
o Worsted: US 9 (5.5 mm)

Notions: Yarn needle (for weaving in ends) and 4 stitch markers
