Fun, Light, & Playful Great for Kids, Teens and the Young at Heart!

This is a headband/ ear warmer in bright rainbow colors. I like to teach while I create, so I’ve created some companion video tutorials to teach you the stitches and techniques in this pattern. Happy Crocheting!

There are two files, one contains photos, the other is written only.

Video tutorial links are in the file, and clickable through your PDF file. Please “allow” it to access the internet so you can access the videos. I promise I haven’t put a virus in there! lol.

You will learn the following stitches and techniques while working this pattern:

single crochet (sc), and spike stitch (sp st, aka long single crochet, and double crochet (dc), working in back loops, and changing colors.

Yarn: Scheepjes Merino Soft

Hook Size: 4mm USA G, or equivalent to achieve gauge. (Here is a link to a conversion chart if your needles are lettered or numbered: Hook Conversion Chart.)

Gauge: 23 sts x 16 rows (sc) = 4” x 4” or 10 x 10 cm
Gauge directions: ch 23 + 1, sc into 2nd ch from hook, and across row (23). ch 1, turn. sc entire row, ch 1, turn. repeat until you reach 16 rows.
