Colourful headband with diamond stitch pattern to cheer you up on dull, grey days. The pattern might look complicated but it only requires basic knitting skills:

• Knit and purl stitches
• Binding off
• Sewing or knitting seams together
• Joining yarns with different colours together

Gauge:

• 22 sts = 10 cm/4”
• 26 rows = 10 cm/4”

Materials:

• 8 x 5 m DK or sport weight yarn in 8 different colours
• 4 mm/UK 8/US 6 needles ― straight or circular

Measurements: the headband is approximately 8.5 cm/3.3” wide and 45 cm/17.7” long which fit small to average size adult female or a teenager. Please note that the given length is only a guideline – head sizes vary from person to person. Knit as long as needed to fit snugly around head.
