Sock yarn isn’t just for socks! We’ve made this hat to show off the lovely colours of Gründl sock yarn, which knits up into solid stripes. Simple slipped stitches carry drops of colour up into the bands of colour above, creating a charming pattern with no tricky manoeuvres.

Knit in the round from the bottom up and using less than one 50g ball of any 4ply yarn, this is a quick and easy knit, ideal for all your newborn friends and growing babes. We strongly recommend using a 16”/40cm fixed circular needle for speed and comfort as you work.
