** Oval Coaster Crochet Pattern **

This is a fun crochet pattern for making pretty oval coasters.
Most coasters are round or square so this one is unique in its’ shape.

You can use any colours you wish, to crochet a pretty set of coasters for decorating your home; or make a set, as a special gift for someone you love :)

The pattern is perfect for beginners !! It includes detailed descriptions and a picture for each step, you only need to be familiar with basic crochet stitches for this one :)

In this pattern round endings are perfect !!! You can’t even tell where they are !!!
Diameter of a coaster is about 5.1 X 4.5 inches (13 X 11.5 cm).

The pattern includes 3 PDF files:

1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial for the coaster.
2. File without pictures for printing the coaster pattern.
3. Photo tutorial explaining how to join new yarn without a slipknot.

All are written in US English terms.

It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.
The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Beginner.
A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches is required.

Materials:
1.Yarn: 100% Cotton, Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK 137 yards/125 m/50 gr. Of course, you can use a different brand with similar weight (the amount required is detailed in the pattern).

1. Crochet hook size: 2.5mm / 3mm.
2. Scissors.
3. Tapestry needle.
4. Stitch markers (optional).
