Knit cuff down with a garter stitch cuff, eye of partridge with garter stitch edge heel flap/gusset and wedge toe.

Set up for heel flap: k2 (0, 2), PM to indicate beginning of heel flap. k32 (36, 41), PM to indicate end of heel flap. Turn. K31 (36, 40) sts on needles 3 and 4 for instep.
Heel flap begins on wrong side row.
